So as some of you know i work part time for a guitar store. We do sell higher end stuff..but we carry this intro line called Austin. I am super impressed by this stuff. I ended up buying one for about $200 . Several hundred less than a Strat(not that squire shit). I was very impressed by the build quality. Only thing i wasn't impressed with was the bridge pick up had a slight hum to it. I replaced all the pick ups with Rio Grande Vintage Tall boys Now i've got a $200 (300 after the pickups) that makes a $900 american strat sound like trash.

I have really grown to hate Fender over the years.. no reason really.. I'm just a lot faster on the Ibanez.

Probably the thinner neck on the Ibanez is what is making you faster on it, since your hand (and you have tiny little woman hands levi) can form around the smaller neck. I have the same thing with all of my random instruments. I just had $500 worth of work done on my viola making the neck smaller, and it is fabulous. Its amazing how i got my viola for just under three grand and i have spent like two thousand making alterations to it and it sounds better than my teachers twenty thousand dollar instrument. HEHE.
